New P 4L MKII

Hello,

I've recently bougt a pair of P 4L MKII speakers. On serveral hifi sites I have read that new speakers have to be broken in. This means that it takes several hours of usage before the speakers are at their optimum performance.

Is this also true for the P 4L MKII speaker? And if this is true, how many hours will it take?

That's true...! Since loudspeakers are mechanically items (like engines of cars) the woofers and especially the ribbon tweeter of your PIEGA P L MKII speakers need approximately 50 hours to develop its definite sound.

Does that also mean that there are certain restictions on using the speakers during those first 50 hours (not too loud, not to many hours at a time...)?
