4 or 8 pol DIN-cables?

Sorry that I have to ask again, but no one here in DK can tell me exactly how it works.

If the P4 L MKII is shipped from Piega with version ..2, will the loudspeaker then turn on and off exactly with the BeoSound 4?

And should I use 4 pol DIN-cables or fully 8 pol DIN-cables?

I still do not know, if I should use fully equipped cables (8 pol) og standard DIN-cables (4 pol)? ;-)

just try it... first with a cheap standard 4-pol cable, an if it isn't working with an expensiv b+o 8-pol cable

(i think the b+o cables are not very cheap)

The 4-pol cable is absolutely ok. You don`t need the 8-pol.

I also thought that.

2 pols give the signal, 1 pol gives the "on/off"-signal and 1 pol is not used. Thats 4 pols... all good.
