The Coax 411 is a speaker I've had my eye on for some time and before I eventually make a purchase I'm thinking about what speaker stand to pair them with. I have some wooden stands that could work, but I couldn't help but notice the Stand 400. I like the simplicity of the design for sure.
I'm wondering if they are able to be filled? With sand or some kind of other material to help with dampening the sound of the solid steel in the construction. Unless they have some inner material that does this already (I cannot tell from the photos). I know it is not required to pair a manufacturer's stands with it's own speakers, but I do like to pay attention to the manufacturers offerings and ask questions so I can make the best decision for me.
