Connection between SUB and receiver

Dear everybody,

Is it possible to connect the Psub1 simultaneously with the LFE/in (for movies in 5.1) and the speaker level input terminals (for stereo) to a receiver.
If not, why? and what is then the most advised way to connect the sub with the receiver. I am using a Sony STRDB 1080QS receiver with two P4XL speakers and the P4C center. Thanks for the reaction.

Hallo Ben

Wir würden empfehlen den Subwoofer ausschliesslich über LFE anzuschliessen und bei dem Receiver das Setup entsprechend zu konfigurieren.
