difference ldr 6.0 and 6.2?

hallo Piega,

Can you tell me what the difference is between your Ldr 6.0 and 6.2? Ldr 6.
0 has a wooden box and the 6.2 aluminium?
I ask this because I have a 6.0 but I can buy a second hand 6.2.

I like to know what the difference is between the ldr 6.0 and ldr 6.2 is. Is the ldr 6.0 a wooden box and the ldr 6.2 an aluminium one?
I know that the 6.2 has 4 woofers instead the 6.0, two woofers and that the 6.2 use a normal speaker for the mid instead a bandschen.

The LDR 6.0 and the LDR 6.2 have nothing in common except the cabinet size. Technically they are very different.

Hallo mr Kurt,

I have open up my LDR6.0 and I see that it is not a 3 way system but a 4 way. The first Woofer has lower cutoff frequency with a second order low pass, the second woofer has also a low pas but a 3rd order and the cutt off is higher then the first one. Am I right??
Further I like to know the values of the condensers because I want to replace them since they are already aging. All are, as I can see, unipolar elcos except the 2 small condensers for the highpass tweeter.
Am also wondering if you have an circuit board for the components since now all the components are just glued on the back board of the box and connects to each other.

Hi Antonius

The LDR 6.0 is probably about 22 years old. We strongly advise you to change or replace anything. Since there were various versions of the speakers, it is not possible for us to define precisely each capacitor.

Jetzt habe ich 3 wochen lang ein ldr 6.0. Ich muss sagen das ich gar nicht zufrieden bin. Die viele mahlen bewunderte Bandchen sind fur mihr kaum besser als ein normalen tweeter. Box ist hergesteld aus billig materiaal und weiche ist einfach zusammen gebastelt auf ein karton. Muss diesem box wirklich viele tausende kosten?

Fur mihr ist ein Quad esl 63 hundert mahl besser und professional gebaut auch.
